Every third Friday this semester TLT will host a loosely themed discussion to talk about using and use of Generative AI tools like chatbots and drawing tools. Together\, we can learn a great deal from each other. \nOur first meeting will be Friday\, January 17\, 2025 starting at noon. The official event is scheduled for an hour\, but the host is prepared to run it for 90 minutes. Stay as long as you want or are able. SUMMARY:Virtual Workshop with City University of New York
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the availability of this free virtual workshop\, which is a collaboration between the Initiative on Immigration and Education (CUNY-IIE)\, VTUS’s Office of Multilingual Students Services\, and the Center for Teaching & Learning Innovation. \n\n\n\nCommunities and schools are shaped and strengthened by the migration of people and ideas across the globe. The City University of New York – Initiative on Immigration and Education (CUNY-IIE) creates opportunities for educational stakeholders to learn from immigrant students\, families\, and educators directly impacted by restrictive immigration policies and educational inequality. DESCRIPTION:Annissa Stout of EdPros will be presenting this third session on digital accessibility. Annissa has worked in disability services for almost 15 years. She started as a student employee in document conversion and took on the role of document conversion coordinator at UArizona’s Disability Resource Center after graduating from the University of Arizona. Since that time\, she has earned her master’s degree in higher education from Northern Arizona University and coordinated captioning and document conversion at the University of Arizona.
