Exploring Generative AI for Pedagogical Uses

This 75-minute workshop examines ways educators can use AI chatbots to enhance teaching and learning, aligned with effective pedagogy and teaching methods. This session will include hands-on experience using chatbots to explore possibilities and limitations for teaching practice.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
*Identify strategies for effectively interacting with a chatbot.
*Describe the elements of an effective structured AI prompt.
*Describe pedagogical situations where AI chatbots can be beneficial.
*Use a chatbot to complete an education-related task.
